One of those things that takes a little time and trouble (and practice) so is not so often seen these days. But what you get is crusty white bread with crunchy poppy seeds to eat with whatever you like (Alan likes jam on it, but don't we all?). Some bakers use beaten egg or other less respectable things to stick on the seeds. We use nothing but the declared ingredients - no egg, dairy or chemicals so you can enjoy with no worries. |
